Doran Woo is an illustrator and graphic designer living in Montréal, Canada. Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, Doran began drawing and painting as a child. Going through her adolescent period, art took priority over many of her interests and eventually she spent her twenties studying art and design. She received a BFA in Textile Art from Sangmyung University in Seoul, and a BDes in Illustration from OCAD University in Toronto.

Her illustrations, watercolour paintings and embroidery on fabric are inspired by one of her major, Textile Art. This special style conveys a narrative, cheerful and nostalgic child-like innocence with both traditional Eastern and modern Western sensibilities.

The narrative style also applied to her graphic design for printing, editorial and packaging that communicate complex information in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner.
